A system and method for modeling product data related to a product''s lifecycle is disclosed that includes an application program interface configured to connect with different types of one or more data sources through one or more computer based product management tools. The digital twin graph is configured to include a plurality of graphical models of product data with related nodes inter-linked by edges via a link algorithm. The models of the digital twin graph are probabilities having an ontology model with nodes of ontology information associated with product data, an instance model with instance nodes associated with product data, and conditional probability distribution nodes from which causal and predictive inference information is generated.
