According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for respiratory gated radiotherapy includes: an irradiation unit; a respiratory signal generating device attached to the body of a subject; a control unit for controlling the operating state of the irradiation unit based on a respiratory signal of the subject from the respiratory signal generating device; and a communication unit. The respiratory signal generating device includes a position measuring unit for measuring coordinates of a position where the device is attached through a plurality of inertial measurement units (IMU), a signal generating unit generating a respiratory signal based on the position measured by the position measuring unit, and a communication unit.
