The present invention relates to a system for facility conservation and operation support of a rice processing complex based on Internet of Things (IoT) and a method thereof, which are capable of maintaining a continuous performance by systematizing and specializing facility conservation of a rice processing complex, reducing costs required for operation and maintenance through life extension and failure rate reduction, promoting improvement of quality of rice and improvement of yield by establishing and supporting a standard of drying and processing operations which affect quality of rice, and improving competitiveness of local agricultural products through improvement of agricultural productivity and commercialization of a high value product. The system for facility conservation and operation support of a rice processing complex based on IoT comprises: a plurality of rice processing complexes (1 to n) distributed in various regions; an RPC management system (20) for managing the rice processing complexes (1 to n); a wired/wireless communications network (30) for connecting the rice processing complexes (1 to n) and the RPC management system (20); at least one sensor installed on facilities of the rice processing complexes (1 to n); a plurality of IoT modules for collecting data of the sensor; a data collection and operation server (16) for collecting the data input from the IoT modules to process and operate the same; and a DB server (17) for storing the collected and processed data.
