The present invention relates to a dry type apparatus using compressed air to prevent freezing of indoor hydrant pipe equipment, which fills the indoor hydrant pipe equipment with air to prevent freezing thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the dry type apparatus using compressed air to prevent freezing of indoor hydrant pipe equipment is installed in the indoor hydrant pipe equipment comprising: a supply pipe supplying fire water to be sprayed; a main pump generating pressure in the supply pipe to supply the fire water; and a pressure tank to operate the main pump in accordance with the pressure of the supply pipe. The dry type apparatus comprises: an air filling port formed in the pressure tank; an air compressor supplying air to the air filling port to fill the supply pipe with the air through the pressure tank; a compressor operation switch installed in the air compressor to operate the air compressor in accordance with the pressure of the pressure tank; and a tank connection pipe connecting the air filling port and the air compressor to transfer compressed air of the air compressor to the pressure tank. Accordingly, air fills the supply pipe and thus freezing is able to be prevented. Moreover, a structure is simple and is easily applied and installed to existing indoor hydrant pipe equipment, thereby reducing costs and facilitating installation.
