According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for decoding polar encoding using a long-likelihood ratio (LLR) redundant representation technique for a successive-cancellation polar decoder comprises: an input representing process of arranging an input to the decoder in a shape according to the redundant representation technique; a kernel processing performing process of performing first kernel processing and second kernel processing on an LLR in a node in any one stage among a plurality of stages; and a source bit estimating process of estimating a plurality of source bits based on first and second kernel processing results.
