The present invention relates to a method for culturing plant bodies of Sorbus commixta, in which a stem region of the Sorbus commixta where a growth point is present is wounded in a WPM medium containing zeatin or BAP as a growth regulator to induce shoot formation, the shoots formed thereby are wound in a WPM medium containing TDZ as a multi-stem regulator to induce multi-stems, and the multi-stem formed thereby is wounded in a GD or MS medium containing IBA or NAA as a root inducer to induce rooting. In addition, uprooting-induced plants are, according to the method, planted in the soil and purified to proliferate the Sorbus commixta having excellent survival rate and growth. Therefore, the method according to the present invention can be useful for mass-production of the Sorbus commixta.
