The present invention provides a method for exploring magnesite ore body using hyperspectral imaging. The method comprises: a step of collecting an element analyzing sample including magnesite, dolomite, and a calcite; a step of performing a quantitative analysis of the element analyzing sample; a step of sorting the quantitatively analyzed element analyzing sample as a sample for analyzing a hyperspectral spectrum; a step of obtaining a first hyperspectral image for the sample for analyzing a hyperspectral spectrum; a step of manufacturing a spectrum library for the magnesite, the dolomite, and the calcite from the first hyperspectral image; a step of obtaining a second hyperspectral image in a mineralized zone area; and a step of analyzing the second hyperspectral image by using the spectrum library. According to the analysis of the second hyperspectral image, magnesite in the mineralized zone area can be distinguished from dolomite and calcite. Accordingly, it is very easy to explore specifically a magnesite ore body from parent rocks including magnetite, dolomite, and calcite.
