The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a Polygoni cuspidate Radix extract with an increased resveratrol content and an antifungal composition containing the same and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing an extract with increased content of resveratrol through a sugar-hydrolyzing enzyme reaction using a Polygoni cuspidate Radix extract. and an antifungal composition including the same as an active component. The present invention has an effect of providing Polygoni cuspidate Radix-derived resveratrol from which sugar is removed from resveratrol glycosides of existing Polygoni cuspidate Radix extracts by processing the Polygoni cuspidate Radix extract with the sugar-hydrolyzing enzyme. The composition including the Polygoni cuspidate Radix-derived resveratrol as an active component can be used to prevent or improve dandruff by having anti-fungi ability against Malassezia fungus which causes scalp dandruff.
