The present invention relates to an apparatus for testing coupler slip of a scaffold and a method for testing coupler slip of a scaffold using the same. In particular, the apparatus for testing coupler slip of a scaffold according to the present invention includes a pair of main frames at a predetermined distance apart from each other and facing each other on a test bed; a first specimen support frame provided at an upper end of one of the main frames and including a first wheel bracket fixing the position of a specimen; a second specimen support frame provided at an upper end of the other of the main frames and including a second wheel bracket fixing the position of the specimen; a load cell installed between the main frames and measuring a vertical load on the specimen; loading equipment spaced apart from the upper portion of the load cell to apply a vertical load to the specimen; and a data collection system collecting and storing load data measured by the load cell.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
