An apparatus and method for reconstructing a hole that occurs in multi-view rendering are provided. Holes in the output view are restored by using images temporally adjacent to the image associated with the image watermark. Holes are restored by scaling the pixels adjacent to the holes. Further, the hole is restored by searching for the patch most similar to the area including the hole, and using the searched patch to fill the area including the hole.
