According to the present invention, provided is a radiation detecting device in a water pipe comprising a solution supply pipe, a shielding material, and a radiation detector which is wound on a water pipe in the shielding material, wherein the water pipe is bypassed from the solution supply pipe, and detects the radioactive nuclide in the solution continuously flowing in the water pipe through the radiation detector in real-time. According to the present invention, the use of the radiation detecting device enables detection of radioactive nuclides included in the water, specifically in flowing water, in real-time for water harmful to the human body not to be consumed. The detecting device is inexpensive and is highly utilized as the device can be easily installed in a general household water purifier.
