The present invention relates to a composition for adsorbing radioactive cesium based on magnetic nanoparticles, a method for producing the same, and a method for adsorbing radioactive cesium using the composition, and more particularly, to a method for adsorbing radioactive cesium on a magnetic nanoparticle core, Due to the structural specificity and the large surface area, the coupled magnetic nanoparticles can adsorb radioactive cesium more efficiently and selectively than conventional Prussian blue. Accordingly, the magnetic nanoparticles combined with the Prussian blue particles having the porous structure according to the present invention can be usefully used for the removal of dissolved radioactive cesium such as widely contaminated streams, rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
