According to the present invention, a brine-refrigerant heat pump system using geothermal heat calculates production calories of a heat source using brine, and calculates consumption calories of a customer from the production calories of the heat source to eliminate a need for using an expensive refrigerant flow meter or the like to calculate calories of a customer using a refrigerant. Therefore, costs are reduced. Also, on and off times of a brine pump and a heat pump are differently controlled, and production calories of the heat source are calculated and integrated while the brine pump is on to accurately calculate calories. Also, a bypass flow passage is formed to circulate the refrigerant and brine only in a machine room while the brine pump is driven and driving of the heat pump is stopped to eliminate a need for power to circulate the refrigerant to a customer side heat exchanger. Therefore, power can be reduced.
