The present invention provides a culvert for waterproof maintenance and repair of four sides, capable of performing a double waterproof force in a connection unit of the culvert and easily being maintained in accordance with damage to a U-shaped sealing cutoff frame additionally installed, and a construction method for the same. According to a proper embodiment of the present invention, the culvert includes: a culvert main body having a square cross section by being manufactured of precast concrete and having one or more hollow water channels penetrated in the direction of a right angle to the cross section, wherein the culvert main body has a connection key protruding at a predetermined height across the whole circumference by being in contact with the hollow water channel on one side and has a key connection groove dented to the inner side across the whole circumference by being in contact with the hollow water channel on the other side; an expansion waterproof material performing a waterproof function in a junction unit in which the adjacent culvert main bodies are connected, by being installed along the whole circumference on the inner surface of the key connection groove or the front surface of the connection key; the U-shaped sealing cutoff frame reinforcing the waterproof force of the expansion waterproof material by being installed along the whole surface on a groove base surface of the key connection groove or a key base surface of the connection key; and multiple connection steel wires installed on the outer circumference of the expansion waterproof material and anchored to be tensioned by being inserted into the adjacent culvert main body.
