The present invention relates to a self-propellant adsorbent, a manufacturing method therefor, and a method for removing a radionuclide using the same, and more particularly, to a self-propellant adsorbent capable of self-propulsion as well as having improved selectively for radionuclide, a manufacturing method therefor, and a method for removing a radionuclide using the same. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the self-propellant adsorbent comprises: an adsorption part including a bubble generation blocking portion which is applied to a part of the surfaces of metal particles generating bubbles through a chemical reaction to block the generation of the bubbles and an adsorbing material which is attached on the bubble generation blocking portion and selectively adsorbs a radionuclide; and a propellant part inducing self-propulsion by generating the bubbles through the chemical reaction as the remainder of the metal particles on which the adsorption part is not formed. The bubble generation blocking portion includes low-reactivity metal or a hydrophobic polymer having ionization tendency lower than the metal. According to the present invention, the self-propellant adsorbent can be purified in a storage tank without a complicated waste liquid treatment facility, can be used to treat various kinds of process waste liquid which may occur in operation and dismantlement of a nuclear power plant, and can replace a conventional high-cost process.
