The present invention relates to an energy saving type thermo-hydrostat system for an air conditioning cooling heat source combining cold water of a water cooling refrigerator and cold water of a cooling tower, capable of always realizing a constant cooling capability, and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the energy saving type thermo-hydrostat system for an air conditioning cooling heat source comprises: a thermo-hydrostat unit; the water cooling refrigerator; the cooling tower; a cold water circulation pipe including a cold water return line and a cold water supply line; a cooling water circulation pipe including a cooling water return line and a cooling water supply line; a first bypass pipe connecting the cold water return line with the cooling water return line; a second bypass line connecting the cold water return line with the cooling water return line; first valves controlling flow of the cold water circulated through the first bypass line; second valves controlling flow of cooling water circulated through the second bypass line; a first temperature sensor installed in the cold water supply line; a second temperature sensor installed in the cold water return line; a third temperature sensor installed in the cooling water supply line; and a controller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
