APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING XML SCRIPT USED IN SECOND SIMULATOR BY CONVERTING PYTHON SCRIPT USED IN FIRST SIMULATOR

The present disclosure relates to a method for generating an extensible markup language (XML) script used in a second simulator by converting a Python script used in a first simulator. In the present disclosure, a Python script including topology information and configuration value is received as an input, the Python script is divided into a sequence of tokens, and node information and link information are extracted from the sequence of tokens. Switch nodes are determined using the node information. When a topology structure of a first simulator is determined based on connection relationship between the switch nodes, position information of host nodes and the switch nodes, which will be placed in a second simulator, is generated based on the topology structure, the generated position information is added to the node information, and the node information and link information are converted into an XML format, thereby generating an XML script.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
