According to the present invention, disclosed is a solar radiation calculating method of a solar power plant construction site using drones. In order to determine optimal position and orientation for solar panels by using the analysis data of solar radiation of a solar power plant construction site for a high efficiency solar power plant business which provides renewable energy, the present invention analyzes solar radiation by calculating the solar radiation of a solar power plant construction site with DEM data obtained based on drone space information. As a result, the average solar radiation in 2017 was calculated as 1,474,466 W/m^2 and the total solar radiation considering a target area was 33,639 MW/m^2. The analysis of monthly solar radiation is important in terms of solar power plant maintenance. In the analysis of monthly average solar radiation of a solar power plant site, average solar radiation in May to July was calculated to be equal to or more than 160,000 W/m^2 and average solar radiation in January to February and November to December was equal to or less than 80,000 W/m^2. The present invention compared solar radiation calculated from drone space information with results presented by the National Institute of Meteorological Science, wherein the average solar radiation on an object area was slightly higher than the national data from the National Institute of Meteorological Science since 93.7% of the object area faces south.
