Provided is a three-dimensional positioning system using an ultra wideband (UWB). In the three-dimensional positioning system using a UWB, one or more tags are attached to a target, and position tracking information responding to a received UWB signal is transmitted to a plurality of anchors when receiving a UWB signal from the plurality of anchors. The plurality of anchors periodically broadcast the UWB signal in order to measure a three-dimensional position of the tag, and calculate distances between the tag and the anchors using the position tracking information received from the tag. A three-dimensional position tracking device may measure a three-dimensional position of the tag by applying the distances between the anchors and the tags respectively calculated by the plurality of anchors to the 3D triangulation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
