NATM TUNNEL EXCAVATION METHOD USING TBM EXCAVATION AND EXPANDED BLASTING PARALLELLY

The present invention relates to a NATM tunnel excavation method. The method includes: a vertical hole opening step of forming a vertical hole by performing additional excavation in a depth of 0.5 m more than a preset vertical hole depth; a tunnel boring machine (TBM) setting step of setting a TBM; a pilot tunnel initial tunneling step of tunneling the bottom of an NATM tunnel to be formed with the TBM at a depth of 40-70 m from the vertical hole (10); a rear facility installation step of installing a rear facility necessary for the management of the TBM; a pilot tunnel main tunneling step of tunneling a pilot tunnel from the vertical hole at a depth of 250 to 300 m; an NATM tunnel blasting hole boring and charging step of boring a blasting hole in a horizontal or vertical direction of the pilot tunnel, and filling the blasting hole with gunpowder; a protection facility installing step of installing a protection facility to protect the installed rear facility and its surrounding space; and an NATM tunnel blasting and muck removal step of expanding and blasting the pilot tunnel through the blasting hole and removing muck through the expansion and blasting. The steps ranging from the pilot tunnel main tunneling step to the NATM tunnel blasting and muck removal step are repeated until the contraction of the NATM tunnel, but the pilot tunnel main tunneling step and the blasting step are conducted at the same time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
