Disclosed are a method for processing a radar reception signal detecting an interference signal in a pulse compression process and an apparatus therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for processing a radar reception signal comprises: a signal reception unit obtaining a radar reception signal reflected by a target body; an interference signal detection unit detecting an interference signal of the radar reception signal before performing pulse compression processing; an interference signal suppression unit, as a result of the detection of the interference signal, removing the interference signal in the radar reception signal, if the interference signal exists; and a pulse compression unit performing the pulse compression processing for the radar reception signal in which the interference signal is removed and generating a pulse compression signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
