The present application discloses recombinant Mycobacteriumsmegmatis strains expressing p24 protein of human immunodeficiency virus type I and vaccine compositions against HIV infection comprising the same. The vaccine according to the present invention can be expressed on phagocytes by expressing high levels of antigen, and can enhance dendritic cell T cell proliferation ability and induce enhanced T cell effector function and Th1-biased humoral immune response in inoculated mice. It can be effectively used for simultaneous infection of HIV-1 and tuberculosis.
