The present invention relates to a self-standing panel type retaining wall construction method and a self-standing panel type retaining wall structure constructed by the same. The technical gist of the present invention is to construct a pile support (multiple H-pile combination structure) very close to a district dividing line (border line of lot) bordered from national land roads or other private lands to prevent collapse of a cut slope, to embed the pile support at a depth of 60% or more of the total height of a panel type retaining wall such that a fixing support force of a retaining wall panel is greatly increased, to form the panel type retaining wall such that male and female uneven shear rudders and shear rudder grooves are formed on upper and lower close contact surfaces, respectively, and a plurality of retaining wall panels are laminated and assembled while standing by themselves in sequence without additional temporary members based on a basic block, and allowing the pile support and the panel type retaining wall standing horizontally or by itself to be joined by a steel wire reinforcing material to strengthen binding and fixing force, thereby greatly improving retaining wall performance and minimizing actual construction site usage.
