The present invention relates to a composition for a tolerogenic dendritic cell differentiation and a method for inducing tolerogenic dendritic cells, and more specifically, to a composition for a tolerogenic dendritic cell differentiation comprising 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde; a composition for a tolerogenic dendritic cell differentiation comprising 10-50 ng/ml of GM-CSF, 0.1-1 nm/ml of IL-4, and 5-30 μg of 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde; a method for inducing tolerogenic dendritic cells comprising a step of culturing bone marrow cells in a medium composition containing 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde; a tolerogenic dendritic cell induced by the method; and to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating autoimmune diseases containing the tolerogenic dendritic cells as active ingredients.
