The present invention relates to a method for simultaneously preparing polyhydroxyalkanoate and carotenoid, and more specifically, to a method for simultaneously preparing polyhydroxyalkanoate and carotenoid, which comprises the step of incubating Paracoccus sp. strains LL1 from NCBI GenBank Accession No. KP288668 with a medium containing 1-5%(v/v) of a carbon source and having pH 7.0 - 8.0. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for simultaneously preparing polyhydroxyalkanoate and carotenoid from Paracoccus sp. strains LL1 from NCBI GenBank Accession No. KP288668, which comprises the step of using a bioreactor having an inner filter to incubate the Paracoccus sp. strains LL1 with a medium containing 1-5%(v/v) of a carbon source and having pH 7.0-8.0. The present invention is capable of efficiently preparing polyhydroxyalkanoate and carotenoid in quantity at the same time.
