According to an embodiment of the present invention, a robot journalism apparatus which generates articles delivering shopping information to customers in an online shopping mall selling products by category comprises: a sales information storage unit storing sales information including information of a customer who purchased a product in the online shopping mall, purchase time, and a purchased product; a category classification data generation unit classifying the sold products based on the sales information by category to generate category classification data; a period sales data generation unit generating period sales data by extracting a product sales ranking according to a set period for each category based on the category classification data; and an electronic article output unit reflecting content of the product sales ranking according to the set period for each category in the body and uploading the electronic article, which reflects the content of the product with the highest sales volume in the title, on the blog operated by the online shopping mall. Thus, the present invention can help sales increase of online shopping malls.
