The present invention relates to a system and method for electronic commerce based on self-credit information. In a closed e-commerce environment where fixed or repeated member-to-member transactions may occur, a member may make credit purchase within a credit line by setting collateral for credit offering for members based on a reserve fund and reservation money for benefit and calculating the credit line according to the collateral for credit offering and maintain credit purchase activities through period-based settlement for credit purchase to result in creating a self-credit transaction environment of the members.
