A method for setting a normal range threshold of a test for companion animal of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving and storing a test value from a diagnostic device; determining whether a calculated value obtained from accumulated test values is greater than or equal to a threshold value; generating clinical decision test values from the accumulated test values if it is determined that the calculated value obtained from the accumulated test values is less than or equal to the threshold value; determining the maximum value and minimum value of a normal range based on the accumulated test values and clinical decision test values; and displaying the normal range to a user.
