The present invention relates to a composite power cable with an embedded heat sensing wire and an overheating protection apparatus having the same which have a convenient structure to facilitate installation and improve economic efficiency, and sense heat generated inside and outside a power cable. The composite power cable with an embedded heat sensing wire comprises: a dummy (100) extended to one side; at least one power feeding wire (200) which is helically wound on an outer circumferential surface of the dummy (100) in a direction in which the dummy is extended, and receives power from an inverter to allow a high-frequency current to flow therein; at least one heat sensing wire (300) helically wound on the outer circumferential surface of the dummy (100) in the direction in which the dummy is extended with the power feeding wire (200) to sense heat generated by the power feeding wire (200); and a cable skin (400) formed to enclose the power feeding wire (200) and the heat sensing wire (300) from the outside.
