The present invention relates to a composition for detecting mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for detecting mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, comprising a specific primer capable of amplifying sequences of specific regions on the BRCA1/2 gene, and a use thereof. The composition according to the present invention is useful for detecting mutations in the BRCA1/2 genes associated with breast or ovarian cancer with high sensitivity and accuracy.
