The present invention discloses a carbon fiber electrode, a wire type supercapacitor comprising the same and a method of manufacturing a carbon fiber electrode. The carbon fiber electrode includes a wire-shaped carbon fiber; conductive particles coated on the carbon fiber; a composite coated on the carbon fiber coated with the conductive particles; and a conductive polymer coated on the carbon fiber coated with the conductive particles and the composite. The composite is composed of carbon nanotubes and an ionic liquid. The carbon fiber electrode has excellent electrode capacity and structural stability, and can be easily applied to various wearable devices.
