FIELD: electrical engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and nanotechnology, in particular to the development of nanocomposite electric contact, heat-resistant, electroerosion-resistant, electrotechnical, nanostructured materials based on copper (Cu), which can be used in production of power rupturable electric contacts, in switches of powerful electric networks and vacuum arc-quenching chambers. Nanocomposite electrocontact copper-based material consisting of a partially disordered copper matrix in which clusters of two refractory components with size smaller than 5 nm are distributed. Powders of copper and two refractory metals (Meand Me) have volume ratio of 50 % Cu-XMe-(50-X)Me, where X is from 5 to 45 %, wherein material has porosity of 1–3 % and Vickers hardness of 4.5–12 GPa.EFFECT: invention increases physical and mechanical properties of material, reduces porosity and specific electrical resistance.1 cl
