The utility model relates to the field of electronics and can be used in the design of thin-film solar cells. The claimed photovoltaic element is a glass substrate on which the bottom continuous electrode, a photoconversion layer, which is a pn junction based on the ZnO / CuO structure, and the upper electrode made in the form of a grid are successively applied by magnetron sputtering. The technical result consists in increasing the conversion efficiency solar energy into electrical energy in the visible range of radiation when using a fairly simple manufacturing technology.
