Vertical distance between these lines is divided into three equal parts and horizontal lines – levels are drawn through the obtained points. First level of the teeth is located between the two lower lines, the third – between the top two, the second – in the middle. Vertical distances between the horizontal lines correspond to the size of the crown of an impacted tooth. To determine the levels and carry out measurements, the obtained X-ray image in three planes is displayed on the computer monitor screen: coronary, axial, sagittal, and also a three-dimensional image. In the window of each slice, a rectangular coordinate system X, Y and Z is drawn, with which three-dimensional measurements are performed on the three-dimensional image. Measurement of the axis of inclination of the lamellar tooth of the patient is carried out by constructing an angle, one side of which is the median axis of the lined tooth, and the second is a line drawn parallel to the horizontal axis of the rectangular coordinate system in the sagittal plane and parallel to the vertical axis of the coordinate system in the coronary and axial planes.
