FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery and clinical echocardiography, and can be used for the preoperative determination of the volume of the left ventricle, which will be optimal when performing the operation of geometric reconstruction of the left ventricle in patients with postinfarction left ventricular aneurysm. Three-dimensional echocardiography is performed, determining the initial pre-operative values of the parameters: end-diastolic volume of the left ventricle (EDV LV); end systolic volume (ESV) of the left ventricle; stroke volume (SV) of the left ventricle; global ejection fraction of the left ventricle (EF LV). Determine the preoperative baseline heart rate (HR) and the surface area of the patient (S). Calculate the value of the cardiac index (CI).
