FIELD: weapons.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military technology, in particular, to devices for reducing the thermal visibility of soft-skin combat vehicles when the engine is running in order to protect against the effects of self-targeting combat elements of high-precision weapons. Above exhaust pipe (3) of the engine exhaust system, box (5) is installed movable in parallel and vertical planes to exhaust the engine exhaust gases. Box (5) has inlet (8) and outlet (6) holes. Box (5) is made of metal with heat-reflecting heat-resistant coating (7) located on the inner surface, and heat-reflecting heat-resistant plates (4) on the outer upper surface, separated by one relative to other air gaps. Box (5) is attached to the body of the machine by means of movable fastener (2), lifting-lever mechanism (10) with the location of inlet (8) of box (5) directly above outlet (3) of the machine, as well as two return springs in such a way that when colliding with an obstacle, when the machine is moving, box (5), in order to prevent its mechanical damage, is deflected to the side of the machine and then returns to its original position under the action of the return springs. When overcoming water obstacles, box (5) is lifted upwards by means of lifting-lever mechanism (10). Exhaust gas flow during engine operation occurs through outlet (6) in box (5) to the ground at an angle of 45–50°.;EFFECT: technical result is reducing the probability of hitting soft-skin vehicles with a running engine with self-targeting combat elements.;1 cl, 2 dwg
