FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to squeezing presses intended for action of clamping forces on moving webs when producing, for example, paper, textile material, plastic foil and other similar materials. In particular, the present invention discloses methods and devices for determining the pressure profile in the pressing zone of the squeezing press, as well as a method of tracking coating wear. Although known presses, in which shafts with built-in sensors are used, can be able to detect changes in pressure along the shaft length, these built-in sensors may not be able to measure and compensate for rotational variability, which can be created by high-speed rotation of coated shaft. Sensitive shaft for use in the squeezing press includes: cylindrical element having outer surface and adapted for rotary motion; shaft coating along the circumference lying over external surface of cylindrical element, and tracking system connected with shaft coating, including: a first set of sensors for measuring pressure, located in a specific configuration on the coating of the shaft, wherein each sensor of the first set is located in a specific cross-section position on the shaft coating; and at least two additional sets of sensors for measuring pressure, located in a specific configuration on the coating of the shaft, wherein each sensor of at least two additional sets is located in a specific cross-section position on the shaft coating, and transceiver, attached to cylindrical element and to each of sensors for wireless transmission of readings of sensors. Each sensor of the first set has a corresponding sensor in each of at least two additional sets of sensors for measuring pressure, which is located in the same position of the cross section and is spaced along the circumference by an equal interval, and the first set and at least two additional sets of sensors for measuring pressure include n sets of sensors, where n≥3, wherein each sensor of one of n sets has a corresponding sensor in the remaining n-1 sets, each corresponding sensor is located in the same cross-section position and is spaced 360°/n along circumference from adjacent sensor and each set of sensors forms a partial helical line, which extends approximately 360°/n around the sensitive shaft.;EFFECT: obtaining a more accurate pressure profile in the pressing zone.;20 cl, 15 dwg
