FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a coating based on intermetallides of a Ti-Al system. Coating is synthesized in a nitrogen medium. Processed part is placed into vacuum chamber, preliminary degreasing surface. Working pressure is created in chamber 8⋅10-3–5⋅10-2 Pa. Ion-beam cleaning, heating and activation of the surface are performed in two steps. At first step, it is performed by high-current plasma source with filament cathode to temperature of 350–400 °C, at second step part surface is heated to temperature of 400–450 °C by electric arc evaporators in argon inert gas medium. After that, first layer of titanium is applied, next coating is applied based on intermetallic compound of Ti-Al system in nitrogen medium. Application of coating is carried out with process assisting by high-current plasma source with filamentary cathode, with formation of phases TiN, AlN, TiAl, Ti3Al, TiAl3.;EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing a coating based on intermetallides of a Ti-Al system synthesized in a nitrogen medium.;1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
