FIELD: astronautics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering and can be used when testing nozzles of rocket engines of large expansion ratios in order to develop them and confirm their performance. When simulating high-altitude environment when testing rocket engines, thermal, mechanical and gas-dynamic loads on a nozzle create products of combustion of the rocket engine, which are vented to the atmosphere using an exhaust diffuser and ejector unit. Combustion products are divided into parts, the smaller of which flow along the nozzle wall, create regular loads on it, and most of the combustion products are used as an ejecting gas for the ejection of their smaller part.;EFFECT: invention allows to provide imitation of high-altitude environment when testing a rocket engine without the need to generate a separate ejecting gas.;1 cl, 4 dwg
