FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to threaded joints. Method comprises steps of: inserting a lead-in end of a male fastener into a female fastener and rotating the fastening elements relative to each other, wherein, at least, one lead-in thread of male fastener passes over groove in top of at least one internal lead-in thread of female fastening element and is not screwed therein. Female fastening element comprises at least one inner fastening thread, at least one internal lead-in thread, which has a groove made at its apex. Female fastener comprises: a rod having a lead-in end; at least one external attachment thread; at least one external lead-in thread, which extends at least half the turn around the rod and comprises curved profile defined by arc, having radius approximately equal to arc radius, tangent to both side surfaces of profile of at least one external fastening thread and extending below dividing line of at least one external attachment thread.;EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving reliability of alignment of axial mismatch of male and female elements in a threaded joint.;36 cl, 52 dwg
