FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery and may be applicable for treating post-pneumonectomic syndrome. An intercostal thoracotomy is made in 4th or 5th intercostal space on the side of the single lung, wherein skin, subcutaneous fat, intercostal muscles, parietal pleura are dissected in layers and the adhesion lung is recovered. Size and length of the hernia gates are evaluated. A pulmonary hernia is introduced into a hermitorax. Fixation to anterior mediastinum is carried out on a maximum area of a mesh polypropylene implant, fixing it to a hernia graft zone, a parietal pleura and a chest wall with separate prolene sutures.;EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of infecting the mediastinoplastics zone, providing stable elimination of the mediastinal hernia.;1 cl
