FIELD: aviation.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining and assembling parts of aircraft and, in particular, to assembly of structural unit of airborne aircraft without using any adjusting pads, locating devices or boring conductors to produce finished holes of required size. Method of assembly of structural unit of aircraft includes support of body sections on appropriate adjustable supports and arrangement in required position between them of connecting body section. Assembly consists of multiple sections. Pre-drilled holes of connection in connecting body section are aligned with pre-drilled holes of mating in body sections with subsequent installation of fasteners.;EFFECT: higher quality of assembly.;12 cl, 17 dwg
