The horizontal ergometer that I invented is primarily intended for people who are bedridden all the time and still need gentle and painless movement. But in fact, all (not just older) people can use it lying down. With the horizontal ergometer Bedridden patients with acute or chronic illnesses who can not exercise due to various limitations on conventional devices, perform gentle and painless movements. In pain treatment, patients learn to move painlessly. With the horizontal ergometer, the load on the movement can be adjusted individually by exchanging the expander ropes. The movement results from hanging the feet in the loops and then e.g. Imitating cycling. The lifting movement of the feet can be chosen from small to large. Since this device is noiseless, it is possible to distract oneself during the movements, e.g. through television or other. As a result, the duration of the exercise is not so consciously perceived and can practically happen "casually". This device is also applicable to older people, actually for all and much cheaper to manufacture than conventional ergometers.
