The present approach relates to a connection device (105) for electrically connecting an electric motor (101) to an electronic switching unit (115). The connecting device (105) comprises at least one band-shaped busbar (120) with at least one first interface (125) bent transversely to a longitudinal extent of the busbar (120) and a second interface (130). The first interface (125) is configured to fix at least one line (110) for guiding a drive current of the electric motor (101) by means of a crimped connection (132).
