Disclosed is a control software for an assembly workstation. This has a plurality of micro-software modules. The micro software modules take over a variety of tasks of the assembly workstation. Via a microsoftware module in the form of a graphical user interface module, a user interface can be displayed on an output device of an assembly workstation. The user interface and the user interface module can then be used to access at least part of the further microsoft software modules.
