Transmit Amplitude and Phase Modulation based on two constant amplitude amplitude phasors

Techniques for generating signals based on two constant amplitude pointers are discussed. An exemplary apparatus includes phase computation circuitry that generates first and second angles from a representation of a complex signal; Distribution circuitry receiving the second angle and outputting a positive and a negative version thereof; a first configured signal generator that receives the first angle and either the positive or the negative version and generates a first signal based on the first angle and either the positive or the negative version; a second signal generator receiving the first angle and the other of the positive or negative versions and generating a second signal based on the first angle and the other of the positive or negative versions; and a combining unit that combines the first and second signals to produce an output signal equivalent to the complex signal.
