There is provided a heat storage system, a heat storage tank, a heat storage device using the heat storage tank, by means of which the generated heat quantity and heat transfer amount can be improved by a simple structure. The heat storage system employs a heat storage vessel comprising: a tubular body, an adsorbent material accommodated in the tubular body, which generates heat by adsorbing a substance to be adsorbed and absorbs heat by the elimination of the adsorbed substance, and has a flow path through which tubular body in the longitudinal axis direction passes. Included in the system is a diffusion layer for transporting the substance to be adsorbed in the liquid phase from the flow path to the adsorbent material; the substance to be adsorbed is transported to the flow path; the substance to be adsorbed is transported into the diffusion layer, a part of the substance to be adsorbed transported into the diffusion layer is adsorbed by the adsorbing material; the adsorbent material releases heat; and the rest of the substance to be adsorbed is vaporized due to the heat and thus to a heat transfer fluid.
