A sensor device (1) for detecting a rotational position of a propeller shaft (2) of body kinematics devices, e.g. Spoilers, has a magnet which is rotatably connected to the propeller shaft (2), and sensor elements by means of which the position of the non-rotatably connected to the propeller shaft (2) magnet is detectable.To provide a corresponding sensor device (1), which is mounted in a simple manner and protected against occurring in the wet area of vehicle body moisture, it is proposed that the sensor device (1) has a housing (4) which is penetrated by the propeller shaft (2) at least on one side and in which a portion of the propeller shaft (2) on which the magnet and the sensor elements of the sensor device (1) are arranged, the magnet and the sensor elements are arranged.
