Systems and methods for identifying new RFID tag events in a particular RFID reader environment are described. In various aspects, a processor causes image sensors to capture a first set and a second set of video images, wherein the first set represents a first RFID tag environment and the second set represents a second RFID tag environment. The first RFID tagging environment is static without a person moving within the first RFID tagging environment, and the second RFID tagging environment is active with at least one person located within the second RFID tagging environment emotional. An environment database may be created and updated with static analytic information and active analytic information based on the first set and second set of video images, respectively. The processor may determine an RFID tag event based on the static analytical information and the active analytical information.
