A fiber bundle connection device (300) comprises: a support table (1) configured to hold a terminal end portion side of a first fiber bundle (3); a roller mechanism (10) having a roller (13) in which it is possible to wind a leading end portion side of a second fiber bundle (4) therearound; a moving mechanism configured to perform a first movement to move the roller mechanism near the terminal end portion side of the first fiber bundle, and a second movement to further move the roller mechanism on the terminal end portion side the first fiber bundle (3) to produce a state in which the leading end portion side of the second fiber bundle (4) lies on the terminal end portion side of the first fiber bundle (3); and a thermocompression bonding mechanism (200) configured to press-connect the first fiber bundle (3) and the second fiber bundle (4).
